Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Product Terms and Conditions") apply to all transactions concluded with you, the customer, via the Online Store (the "Website") Please read them carefully before placing your order and print a copy for your future reference. By using the Website you accept and agree to be bound by the Product Terms and Conditions and the Web Site Terms and Conditions which together shall constitute the entire agreement between you and the online store.
If you do not agree to the Product Terms and Conditions or the Web Site Terms and Conditions you should leave the Website.
We reserve the right to alter or amend the Product Terms and Conditions at any time without notification to you. Specifically we can amend, discontinue or remove content displayed on the Website, including product and service information or specification on the Website, without liability
All descriptive material on this website, including illustrations, drawings, photos and text (including the poultry house number guidelines) shall be used only as a general guide and shall note form part of the Contract. Images are indicative only and may differ from the actual products supplied. The Bee Vet reserves the right to change or amend the literature or specification without prior notice.
All elements of the Website content and all logos, photography, graphics, software and video clips are protected by UK copyright laws. You are entitled to view the Website and to print pages of the Website for the sole purpose of placing an order with us. However, any copying or downloading from the Website without written permission from us is strictly prohibited and will be deemed an infringement of copyright.
You are not permitted to use our trademarks or the trademarks of any third party without our prior written consent or of such third parties that may own the trademarks.
Under 18 website users
If you are under 18 years of age you must gain parental/guardian approval to submit data, receive updates or purchase goods online. You are still bound by these Product Terms and Conditions and use of the Website will be taken as acceptance of these Product Terms and Conditions.
You acknowledge that the Website and any goods that you obtain from the Website are provided for your personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purposes or distributed commercially without our permission.
We only sell pharmaceutical products to persons over the age of 18. By placing an order for such products you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.
We will send you an email to acknowledge receipt of your order ("Advice Note"). Receipt of your credit or debit card details and debit of payments does not constitute our acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order takes place upon despatch of the goods to you at which point the purchase contract is made. We reserve the right to decline your order for any reason whatsoever and to refuse bulk orders. If we do so a member of our customer services team will contact you and will refund in full any charges which have been incurred.
Goods are invoiced in pounds (£) sterling or Euros (€) at the price prevailing at the time you place your order. Prices are expressed exclusive of Value Added Tax ("VAT") which will be charged at the current rate as shown on the on-line order form and are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges will be added to the price of the goods purchased so that the on-line order form shows the total charges which we will debit.
The prices indicated apply only to on-line purchases and are not indicative of the price of identical goods purchased at our retail stores or by any other means.
We reserve the right to amend any prices without any prior notice and to end any promotions at any time. We reserve the right to add or withdraw any item at any time. We try to ensure that all prices displayed are correct and within the company's pricing structure. In the event that an incorrect price is advertised, we shall amend such price upon notification. We are under no obligation to supply any product that is priced incorrectly.
In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union , The Bee Vet are obliged to charge UK VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU, although EU VAT registered businesses may choose to remove the VAT charge by providing us with their company’s VAT registration number at checkout.
The Bee Vet decides whether or not VAT is applicable based on the delivery country selected. The delivery country is selected as part of the order process.
Below is an explanation of how we handle VAT:
Orders for delivery outside of the European Union (EU)
Vat is not applicable for orders delivered to countries outside of the EU and will therefore not be charged. However import duties and local taxes may apply when the goods arrive. These are the Customer’s responsibility.
Orders for delivery outside of the European Union (EU) member states
VAT is applicable to all orders to European Union (EU) member states and will be charged at the prevailing UK rate.
EU VAT registered businesses may choose to remove the VAT charge by providing us with their VAT registration number at checkout (this does not apply to UK VAT registered businesses where VAT must be charges).
Orders for UK delivery
VAT is applicable to all UK orders and will be included in the final cost. VAT will be charged at the prevailing UK rate.
Import duties and local taxes
Orders for delivery outside of the European Union may be subject to import duties and local taxes which are levied once the package reaches the destination Country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer; The Bee Vet has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from Country to Country, so the customer should contact their local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from The Bee Vet, the Customer is considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the Country in which the goods are being received. The Bee Vet cannot be held responsible for the illegal import of goods or for spoiled goods that get caught in the customs clearance process.
The Bee Vet will not be liable to any customer for any delays or failure to perform due to any causes beyond our reasonable control. These causes may include, but not be limited to, acts or omissions of the customer, acts of God, and default by a supplier, and interruptions to delivery due to transport difficulties.
Jurisdiction and Law
Contracts under these terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law and English Courts having jurisdiction subject to any contrary rights the Customer may have as a consumer.
Delivery Services and Returns
Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to your nominated delivery address, whereupon the risk of loss, breakage and damage passes to you. Ownership of the goods does not pass to you until payment is received in full by us.
Some postal addresses in Northern Ireland, some offshore islands and some remote areas of Great Britain may not be covered by our delivery services and we may not be able to arrange delivery of some items to such addresses. You will be notified of this when you place your order. Deliveries to Northern Ireland may need to wait an extra day to receive their order.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. The standard service is delivery within 48 hours of dispatching the order.
Our returns policy is that if a customer returns goods in an unused/unworn condition, with the original delivery docket (as proof of purchase) and the original packaging within 28 days of the original purchase date, we will offer either a refund or exchange for the goods purchased. If goods are returned after the 28 day period, after inspection of the goods we will offer an exchange only. If no valid reason is found for exchanging/replacing the goods we will return them to the purchaser. If a customer’s preference is to return goods in person this is acceptable provided that all the rules stated above are adhered to and you take the order confirmation e-mail with you which details the price which was paid for the goods when purchased. Please note that refunds processed must be made to a credit or debit card in the name of the returnee. Cash refunds cannot be given.
To arrange to return goods contact us using the contact form on our main website and they will instruct you of the returns process and refunding procedure.
When returning any products you are required to also return any additional products you received as part of an offer for buying a certain product online. When returning goods that have separate parts, you are required to return all the parts that were sent with the product. No good may be returned without first obtaining a RMA or Return Material Authorisation from us.
In the event that an order is placed for delivery after 12.00 noon on the Friday of a Bank Holiday weekend, this delivery would then be delivered by 5.00pm on the Wednesday. If a delivery order was placed after 12.00 noon on the Thursday prior to the Easter Bank Holiday, this order would be delivered by 5.00pm on the Wednesday.
We offer a standard rate for delivery of orders up to 30Kg. Orders over 30Kg will be subject to an increased delivery charge and you will be notified accordingly.
All items are subject to stock availability. If for any reason the goods are no longer available we will notify you immediately and either:
- give you the option of receiving alternative goods of similar price and quality
- or cancel the item from your order and refund you in full.
When we deliver your items you will be asked to sign for the goods to acknowledge that you have received them. All deliveries will require signed proof of delivery. Goods can be left at the delivery address with someone other than the purchaser as long as a signature and printed name is signed by the receiver. Goods will only be left with a neighbour if prior arrangement has been made with us. If the carrier is unable to deliver the goods they will be held by the carrier and a card left stating that a delivery was attempted. No goods will be left in sheds, garages, gardens or outhouses. A member of our Customer Services staff will contact the customer to make alternative delivery arrangements. Re-delivery will be attempted for a maximum of two occasions. If a parcel is still undelivered it will be returned to us and the customer will be notified of its return. The customer will be responsible for the cost of the return.
We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products. All goods are warranted to be generally free from defects in workmanship and materials and fit for the purposes for which such goods would normally be used. However, on rare occasions products may be found to be faulty or defective and in keeping with our commitment to providing customers with excellent service, we offer the returns facility set out below.
All returns are the responsibility of the customer. We will only cover the cost of faulty or damaged returned goods.
If an item is faulty please contact us and we will arrange an appropriate remedy. This facility is open during normal office hours Monday to Friday only. Instructions for customers wishing to return goods will appear on each Advice Note. Any customer seeking a refund for postage and packing or not wishing to pay for the return of faulty or damaged goods will need to contact us directly. Carriage costs will be displayed at the checkout prior to paying for the goods.
A decision on whether the product needs to be replaced or credited is entirely at our discretion.
If after inspection your product is deemed to be faulty we will endeavour to organise a replacement or refund the purchase amount within 14 days of the return.
We regret that failure to return products within 28 days of delivery may result in us being unable to process your claim.
Credit Card Payments
We are unable to accept credit [or debit] cards that are due to expire within the next FIVE days. Card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are despatched once authorisation has been obtained by us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law we will not be liable to you or any third party for any:
loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and/or loss of data; and/or
any other loss or damage which does not result directly from our actions of, or the actions of sub-contractors or agents;
and which arises out of or is related to your purchase of goods via the Website.
In any event our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the goods purchased. Nothing in these Product Terms and Conditions excludes our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence. These Purchase Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer or otherwise.
Links within the Website may lead to other web sites. Such links are for information purposes only and we assume no responsibility for the contents of these web sites. Furthermore, the inclusion of any links to other such web sites does not mean that we sponsor, endorse or otherwise approve any information or material contained in those sites, or in sites linked to those sites, or has any association with the owners thereof.
Links to the Website may not be included in any other web site without our prior written permission.
